Hi! I’m Kristi A. Anderson, an avid traveler and runner who writes.
I live in Boulder Colorado where I have raised three active kids, managed a solo physical therapy practice, and run trails in the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Now that my children have grown independent, I’ve downsized my physical therapy practice and am channeling my energy into writing and travel.
I love to explore the world by foot, whether by running and hiking trails in wilderness or walking through distinct neighborhoods of a sprawling city. I have run in the wild places of Iceland and Patagonia and in the civilized streets of Paris and Berlin. I have wandered the maze of bridges over the canals of Venice and been lost in the haphazard streets of Rome. Travel breaks the monotony of life-sucking routine and offers experiences that fuel my spirit. Stories about my running and travel adventures are what ignited my blog.
Helping people stay active and pain-free has been my physical therapy practice mission for nearly 30 years. It feels natural to also use my writing toward that aim. The American Medical Writers Association has helped me sharpen my skill in medical communication. Health tips are sprinkled into my blog.
